Durosinloruns, Wisdom Others Win 3rd Ex-Squash Pro National Junior Championship

The winners of the 3rd edition of Ex-Squash Pro National junior Championship recently in Lagos
The squash indoor hall of Teslim Balogun was filled to its capacity when young squash gladiators clashed with one another for supremacy for different top spots with squash enthusiasts, parents and guardians coming to supports and sheer their own to victory.
The 3 days sporting event which paraded young squash 161 players from 19 states of the federation who came with zeal and determination to do their states proud.
However, in the under-13 girl’s event, undisputed champions, Mistura Durisinlorun of Kwara state defeated her opponent from Alwa-Ibom, Delight Temple 3-2 to clinch the gold medal in the category. The title she’s retaining for the fifth time.
Meanwhile, the Durosinloruns, Mistura and Raheem Durosinlorun were the delights to watch last weekend at the 3rd edition of Ex-Squash Pro Junior championship where they both proved their worth when they defeated their opponents 3-2 and 3-0  in the under-13 and under-16 categories respectively.
In the final of the under-13 Boys category, Wisdom Nzei and his younger brother, Daniel who both represented Akwa-Ibom lurk horns with each other in the fierce battle that saw Wisdom claiming the title in a 3-2 thriller, coming from 2-2 draw to seal the winning as he claimed that defeating his younger brother was never an easy for him as he had to use his wisdom to edge him out of the game.
However, it didn’t take much efforts for Favour Utukpe to show her opponent, Paul Favor how to do it right as the latter defeated her opponent 3-0 in the under-16 girl’s category.
The Kwarans, Ibrahim Balogun and Raheem Durosinlorun were not left out of the battle royale with Raheem Durosinlorun mauling his Kwaran counterpart Ibrahim Balogun 3-0 to claim the gold medal and the coveted trophy for the tournament.
In her closing remark, the ace broadcaster and chairman of the Ex-squash Pro Nigeria, Laurel Mubo Ojo said she was particularly delighted that the event is getting better and better each passing year especially the two brothers, Wisdom and Daniel Nzei who represented Akwa-Ibom whose performances on the court were so overwhelming and wonderful.
The Chubby ace journalist further disclosed that a new template has just been introduced to make the game more viable in terms of coaching clinic and some other basic things that will push squash in the country to the next level.
She never hesitated to enjoined corporate organisations in the country to contribute their quota to the development of the game so as to discover more talents and nurture them to champions in order to replace the ageing players.
